摘　　要：邓小平以人为本思想,以历史唯物主义为指导,在继承马克思主义人本思想的基础上,总结当代实践经验,丰富和发展了毛泽东的以人为本思想;它以人民性为价值尺度探索社会主义本质,以人民利益标准为根本标准,通过制度创新充分保证人民当家作主,通过社会发展促进人的全面发展为主要内容,具有鲜明的时代性和实践性特征。Guided by historical materialism and based on Marxism people-oriented thought, DENG Xiao-ping＇ s people-oriented thought enriches and develops MAO Ze-dong＇ s people-oriented thought by summarizing the contemporary practice experience. It probes into the essence of socialism with people-oriented as the measure of value. It regards people＇ s interests as the basic criteria. It guarantees the owner position of the people through system innovation and promotes individual development through social development, which are the obvious characteristics of the times and the practice.
