摘　　要：产业生态学是研究产业系统与其环境间相互作用、相互关系的科学。文章在总结、阐释产业生态学的内涵和思想概要、研究与实践概要的基础上,分析了产业生态学用于开发区环境影响评价的意义、可行性,并将产业生态学应用于开发区环境影响评价全过程中。Industrial ecology is the science of sustainability, which researches on mutual interaction and relationship between industrial system and its environment. This paper summarizes and sets forth the connotation, main theory and areas of research and practice, analyses the significance and feasibility of application of industrial ecology to environmental impact assessment （EIA） of development area. Then, this paper discusses how to apply the theory and principles of industrial ecology to the directive ideas and the whole technical process of EIA of development area.
