摘　　要：按照现代翻译研究理念，本文以傅译罗曼·罗兰为例，首先对傅雷动笔之前选择文本的动机与目的进行剖析；其次，对译作新生命诞生的条件进行探讨；再次，对译作在新的环境中如何产生影响来拓展原作的生存空间进行追踪；最后指出在现代翻译研究视阈下考察傅译罗曼·罗兰的双重意图。This article attempts to probe,from modern translation studies perspective,into the translated version of R. Rolland＇s works by Fu Lei. The article commences with an analysis of the motivation and purpose of the translator for selecting the text of the source language ,and then explores the conditions,on which the translated version came into being,tracks down the existing space for the expansion of the original works under the influence of a new environment exerted upon the translated version, and finally examines, from modern translation studies perspective, the dual intention for studying Fu Lei＇s translated version of R. Rolland＇s works.
