改性蓝蒽酮偏振薄膜的性能研究

摘  要:偏振片薄膜化有利于液晶显示器件的小型化、集成化和轻量化。二向色性蓝蒽酮改性引入磺酸基,偏光分析表明其水溶液中分子自组装为溶致液晶相,织构呈带状。在600~730nm可见光波段,改性蓝蒽酮涂布薄膜的偏振效率可达到80%以上,满足实用要求,而厚度仅有0.4~1.2μm,划痕测试表明薄膜与玻璃基片的结合强度较好。紫外-可见光分光光度计测试结果显示,稳定化处理后薄膜的光学透过率下降,偏振效率基本不变;表面形貌分析表明,微裂纹产生是导致其光学透过率下降的主要原因。随膜厚增加,薄膜偏振效率提高,可见光波段的偏振性能改善,但光学透过率下降。试验结果表明,改性蓝蒽酮偏振薄膜具有良好的耐热和耐湿热性能。Thin-film polarizers are favorable for the miniaturization, integration and light-weight of liquid crystal display devices. Sulfonic acid groups were introduced by modified process. The polarized light analysis of modified indanthrene blue RSN aqueous solution showed that their molecules were self-assembled lyotropic liquid crystal phases with strip textures. The polarizing efficiency of thin coating films in 600-730 nm visible light wavelength reaches above 80% and meets the practical requirements with the thickness of 0.4-1.2 μm. The scratch left on the surface showed high bond strength between thin films and the substrates. UV-Vis spectrometer indicated that the transmittance fell down and the polarizing efficiency kept constant after stabilization process. The analysis of surface morphology indicated that the generation of micro-cracks on surface was the main cause to make the transmittance decrease. The polarizing efficiency of thin films and the polarization properties of visible light wavelength were improved with the thickness growing, but the transmittance fell down. The results of experiments proved that modified indanthrene blue RSN thin polarizing films were characterized with good properties of heat and moist heat resistance.
