摘  要:光纤在拉丝过程中,用沉积密封碳层的方法保护光纤,可以避免 H_2和 H_2O 引起的光纤损耗增加和强度衰退。在升温和氢压条件下,把碳密封涂层光纤暴露到 H_2气中,光纤的损耗特性与 H_2或与 H_2和 SiO_2中的缺陷反应形成的 OH 基团有关。在100~150℃范围内,用圆柱状的经典扩散理论以及 H_2在碳中的溶解度和扩散系数提出了 H_2的扩散模型。It is experimentally proved that the technique of depositing hermetic carbon coatings on surface of optical fiber during drawing process can avoid optical fiber attenu- ation and strength degradation caused by hydrogen and water.Under conditions of rising temperature and hydrogen pressure,when the carbon-coated optical fiber is exposed to hydrogen atmosphere,the optical fiber attenuation characteristics are related to hydro- gen,or th OH formed by the reaction between defects in silica and hydrogen.At the range of 100~150℃,hydrogen diffusion model is,in this paper,described by using the solubility and diffusion coefficient of hydrogen in carbon as well as cylindrical classic dif- fusion theory.
