北京大学图书馆分馆工作对教学科研的保障作用

摘　　要：首先通过对北京大学分馆建设总体情况的简要回顾,介绍了分馆建设的总体思路、主要特点和建设模式,重点解析了分馆建设十六字方针的内涵,并对不同发展阶段所呈现出的特点和发展模式进行了概述。接着从资源建设和读者服务两个方面举出大量实例说明分馆工作对教学科研的保障作用。最后作者探讨了分馆建设今后的发展,提出五点具体建议。At the beginning of this article, the author briefly reviewed the development of the branch tlbrary system in Peking University, making a full introduction on the strategy, characteristics and development patterns, and laying special attention on the ＂sixteen word＂ policy which guided the practice. The author introduced the characteristics and achievements of the Branch libraries at PKU in different periods, providing a great deal of examples to show the support given by branch libraries to teaching and research activities on two aspects--resource development and reader services. Finally, the author explored the fu- ture development of the branch library system and gave sev.eral significant suggestions.
