摘　　要：以北京大学图书馆多媒体服务转型和多媒体服务共享空间的构建为例,阐述网络环境下基于学术需求的数字多媒体服务的定位与特征、探讨多媒体服务共享空间的功能与特色。The paper introduces the media services in transition and the creation of the Media Commons in Peking University Library. It describes the reengineering and the features of the digital media services based on academic requirements under the networked environment, and then discusses the functions and features of the PKUL Media Commons.
