摘　　要：水下插拔光纤连接器是近些年国外出现的光纤通信领域中的高新产品。该连接器具有整体水密功能,分开后可自成一体,各自独立密封。介绍了国外水下插拔光纤连接器的研发过程、现状以及未来的发展,分别对国外水下插拔连接器现有的几种典型结构进行具体阐述。Underwater wet-mate fiber optic connector is a new high-tech product emerged abroad in the field of optical communications in recent years. It offers integral watertight function, each part of the connector after disconnected can become a complete part, and is watertight independently. The research and development process, the present status, and the future development of underwater wet-mate fiber Optic connector abroad are introduced. Some existing typical structures of the foreign underwater wet-mate fiber optic connectors are described specifically.
