摘　　要：通过工程勘察实例资料,对确定红粘土地基承载力方法进行对比,指出了地方规范中关于硬塑状态的红粘土地基承载力取值偏于保守的问题,并提出了修改意见。由于目前武汉地区有关红粘土地基载荷试验结果与现场及室内所取得的物理力学指标之间的对比资料极少,文中得到的一些结论对红粘土地基承载力的确定具参考意义,有待在今后的工程勘察实践中进一步验证。the selected value of bearing capacity of red clay in stiff plasticity is found to be very conservative by the comparison of test results from different approaches in the case of soil investigation. Some modifications are recommended. Due to the existing rare data for this soil about relations among physical and mechanical parameters in laboratory and in - situ tests, the conclusions drawn in this paper are hopefully used as source of reference about its value of capacity and also provided to be validated further. bearing
