摘 要:小句主语是语言作为人与世界互动过程所侧重的某个单一完整的关系中角色原型的焦点突显实体的表征。无标记小句主语描述这个过程中参与者的常规焦点突显实体,其突显性与人的常态认知思维相吻合。标记小句主语主要描述认知过程中反常规的焦点突显实体,包括隐含受事的突显、非参与者突显以及过程侧面本身的突显。本文旨在从语言功能和人的认知能力角度,在认知突显性理论框架内较为清晰、合理地诠释小句主语的语义渊源及其主要特征。This paper applies cognitive prominence theory interpretatively to the study of the semantic source and characteristics of the clause subject. Clause subject is viewed as the linguistic symptom of the focal prominent entity of the role archetype participants in a complete profiled relationship during the process of the interaction between humans and the world. The prominence tallies with the normality of human cognitive mind. The unmarked clause subject describes the canonical focal prominent participants in the process of interaction (e. g. , linguistic or non - linguistic) ;while the marked clause subject describes the deviant focal prominent entity, including the prominence of that which is agent in form and patient in meaning ; the prominence of non-participant and the prominence of the process profile itself. The aim of this paper is to interpret more clearly and reasonably the semantic source and characteristics of clause subject within the framework of cognitive prominence theory with special consideration of language function and human cognitive ability.
