二氢胆甾醇酯衍生物的合成及液晶性能研究

摘　　要：从相应的取代苯甲酸出发,通过酯化反应合成了取代苯甲酸二氢胆甾醇酯衍生物,并用偏光显微镜(POM)及示差扫描量热法(DSC)研究了它们的液晶行为,研究表明:仅当苯环上含有带短烷氧基链时,这类衍生物才具有液晶行为,烷氧基链增长或不带烷氧基都将导致液晶行为的消失。Dihydrocholesteryl benzoate derivatives were synthesized from the corresponding carboxylic acids by esterification, and their mesomorphic behavior was investigated by polarized optical microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. Result showed that only compounds attached short alkoxyl chain in benzene ring possessed liquid crystalline behavior. Compounds without alkoxyl chain or with longer alkoxyl chain showed no liquid crystalline property.
