转型国家外资所有权与银行绩效简析

摘　　要：2005年,John P.Bonina,Iftekhar Hasanb,Paul Wachtel对4个北欧国家、4个南欧国家以及3个波罗的海沿岸国家225个银行1996～2000年的856个观测值进行了研究,发现战略性和非战略性外资所有权以及国际机构投资者的参与对这些当时正处于转型中的国家银行业绩效在利润效率和成本效率方面都产生了深远的影响。而这些影响对于即将面临外资所有权大规模进入的中国来说极具借鉴意义。Using data from 1996 to 2000,John P.Bonin a,Iftekhar Hasan b,Paul Wachtel investigated the deep effects of ownership,especially by a strategic foreign owner,on bank efficiency for eleven transition countries in an unbalanced panel consisting of 225 banks and 856 observations in 2005. To study the experience from such countries that is similar to China today is so important,for the foreign ownership will enter into China,the transition country soon.
