摘 要:卡尔。约索福。拜尔(KarlJosephBayer)于1888年发明了拜尔法工艺并获得了专利。107年以来,技术人员已改进并发展了拜尔法工艺,使之能经济地供应冶金级氧化铝并能从不同铝土矿生产出满足质量要求的氧化铝化工原料。在燃料和能源费用增加、强化工业环保及在发展中国家环保区探明铝土矿的情况下,拜尔法技术人员提出未来拜尔法工艺要解决的问题有:①铝土矿品位降低;②铝电解厂和氧化铝厂要求严格的产品质量;③铝土矿开采、氧化铝提炼环保要求严格;④燃料、能源和苛性苏打费用增加。Karl Joseph Bayer invented and patented the Bayer Process in 1888, and in the 107 years since its invention, Bayer Technologist have modified and developed the Process to economically supply the growing aluminum and alumina chemicals industries with Smelter-Grade Alumina and alumina chemicals feedstocks of the desired qualities from different bauxites, under increasing cost of fuels and energy, under increasing concerns for the environmental impacts of the industries, and in the environments of developing countries where some bauxites are found. A Bayer Technologist's visions of the future Bayer Process are presented, with the suggestion that some of these visions must be developed to continue the provision of viable solutions to the future challenges of our industries, posed by ① decreasing grades of bauxites as the higher grades are consumed;② more stringent quality specified by primary aluminum smelters and alumina chemical manufactures; ③ more stringent specifications on acceptable environmental impacts for bauxites mining and alumina refining operations, and ④ increasing costs of operating supplies, such as fuels, energy, and caustic soda.
