摘  要:许多森林火灾瞭望塔(下称云台)上备有短波无线电台,可以利用塔上现有装备,搭建远程图像捕捉传输系统,实现指挥中心对火险监查现场可视。由于短波信道频带有限,必须对图像进行压缩。在Visual C++平台上,实现了对图像JPEG2000标准下的压缩,并实现了感兴趣区域编码,在保证图像质量的情况下为调制解调留出足够的带宽,有利于图像信息在短波信道上的传输。The traditional fire detection often involves manual monitoring, aerial survey and satellite monitoring. In view of these expensive methods, a more practical fireproof surveillance system is desirable. A short wave radio is always there in a fire tower in forest, so cameras can be set in the towers to capture the image of the forest and the available short wave radio can be used to transmit the image information. Due to limited range of short wave bandwidth, it is essential to compress the image. A fire image is compressed based on JPEG2000 standard on Visual C++ platform and it is also processed with ROI coding. Thus there will be sufficient bandwidth left for the transmission of image information along the short wave path and for a good recovered image quality. According to the experiment results, the highly compressed image sees no obvious visual difference as compared with the original image. Furthermore, the ROI coding image shows the pertinence to the point of the image-the kindling point. The calculation indicates that the still image compression standard JPEG2000 is suitable for the design and application of the system.
