摘　　要：分析了维护健康河流的内涵,简述了水环境监测的目的、作用、监测现状及水环境监测的基础地位,并强调只有加强水环境监测才能为维护健康河流提供必要的信息支撑,同时在水环境监测存在不足的基础上,提出了如何做好水环境监测的几项建议。This article analyzes the connotation of maintaining a healthy river, explains the purpose, effect, current situation and basic position of water environment monitoring, and emphasizes that only by strengthening water environment monitoring, the necessary support information can be provided to maintain healthy river. At the same time, on the basis of deficient intension of water environment monitoring, the article provides some suggestion on how to do a good job of water environment monitoring.
