摘　　要：分析了公共图书馆对市民进行信息素质教育的优势,指出了图书馆的社会职责,探讨了公共图书馆树立读者意识的重要性。This paper analyzes the superioritiesing of public library in carry out the information literacy education for citizens, points out the social responsibility of the library, and probes into the importance of establishing the reader consciousness of public library.
