摘  要:地球环境变化日益成为工、农业和人类社会的关注对象。21世纪初,美国国家航空航天局(NASA)推出了地球科学事业(ESE)计划,旨在加强对地球系统变化的认识和预测能力。轨道列车(A-Train)作为ESE计划的顶层组成部分之一,以多卫星的编队组合方式飞行,实现多平台、多传感器、多谱段的协同对地观测。该编队能够获取时空近似一致的云综合信息,涵盖了云可见光、红外、微波和激光谱段的属性,为云研究提供最为有效的技术支持。本文基于A-Train卫星编队,概述了编队涉及的ESE计划和ESSP计划,介绍了编队云使命载荷,结合协同对地观测思想,着重分析了编队在云宏观物理特性、云微观物理结构和云综合分析研究领域中的应用。The changing Earth environment is increasingly a focus of many agricultural, industrial and societal concerns. In order to improve the ability to understand and predict the Earth system variability, NASA carries out the Earth Science Enterprise (ESE) mission in the early of 21st century. One of the ESE components is the "A-Train" satellite formation, which can synergize various satellites, sensors and spectra to observe the Earth from space. Flying in close proximity, A-Train can collect cloud comprehensive information, including cloud visible, infrared, microwave and laser properties. These detailed cloud information can better the technological conditions of the cloud research. Based on the "A-Train", the passage summarized the concerned missions-ESE and ESSP, then introduced the cloud loads into the A-Train. Associated with the concept of the synergistic observation to the Earth, the passage put great emphasis on the application of the A-Train to the cloud research, involving the fields of cloud macro-physical characteristic, cloud micro-physical structure and cloud comprehensive analysis.
