摘　　要：讨论了一种基于AVR单片机的光纤通信自动保护系统的设计,并阐述相应的系统构成原理及软、硬件主要功能特点.该系统对光纤通信进行实时在线监测和管理,及时有效地对光缆线路故障做出反应,并将通信中断时间缩短到1 s以内.系统技术指标分析表明其设计的有效性,能够有力地保证整个城域通信无间断地进行.This paper discusses the automatic protection switching system of optic fiber communication based on AVR. Hardware which make up of the system are described. The system can monitor and administrate the optical communication online. Faults can be detected and solved during communication process. The interruptive time can be reduced to less than one second and communications would continue without interruption.
