摘 要:语用学研究反语是围绕着其机理展开的。过去的研究主要有含义论、假装论、回声论等。本文以常规关系理论为框架,提出反语研究的新进路。反语的运用(生成和理解)实质上是人们在大脑中知识结构的关系性知识的制约下,在特定的语境中对不同程度反向相邻关系的本能感知。反语涉及同一个认知域(范畴)下的两个次认知域(范畴)之间的投射,可以被看作隐喻的一个特例。The study of irony in pragmatics focuses on its mechanism. In dealing with it scholars have suggested theoretical frameworks such as Implicature theory, Pretence theory, Echo theory, and so on. The present paper attempts a new approach to the use of irony (production and interpretation ) within the framework of MM (mental medeis)-based pragmatic reasoning. The use of irony is substantially a cognitive process in which man, constrained by the relational knowledge in his mental models, is innately driven to perceive opposite-directional proximity under a specified context. Irony involves mapping of two sub-domains of the same cognitive domain, which makes irony a special instance of metaphor.
