SYNERGISTIC FLAME RETARDANCY EFFECT OF ARYLOXYPHOSPHAZENE AND METAL HYDROXIDES ON LLDPE

摘  要:研究了采用苯氧基磷腈(APPZ)与质量比为1∶2的Mg(OH)2与Al(OH)3的混合物(以下简称"MAH")复配阻燃线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)的性能,并对APPZ和MAH的阻燃协效机理进行了探讨。结果表明,当MAH与APPZ的总质量分数为50%、APPZ的质量分数为5%时,LLDPE/(MAH/APPZ)共混物的极限氧指数(LOI)、平均热释放速率、平均质量损失速率、800℃残炭率分别为36.0%、130.1 kW/m2、0.031 g/s、40.0%,与未加APPZ时相比,LOI和800℃残炭率分别增加了33.3%和18.9%,平均热释放速率和平均质量损失速率则分别下降了17.5%和23.8%,APPZ与MAH的阻燃协效作用明显,阻燃性能较佳。The properties of aryloxyphosphazene (APPZ) and metal hydroxides (MAH) consisting of magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide with a mass ratio of 1:2 flame-retarded linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) were studied, and the synergistic flame retardancy mechanism of APPZ and MAH was discussed. The results showed that when 50% MAH and APPZ was loaded and the content of APPZ was 5% , LOI values, the average heat release rate, the average mass loss rate and the mass residue at 800℃ of the composite were 36.0%, 130.1 kW/m^2 , 0.031 g/s and 40.0%, respectively. Compared with the composite without APPZ, LOI values and the mass residue at 800℃ increased by 33.3% and 18.9% , respectively; the average heat release rate and the average mass loss rate decreased by 17.5% , 23.8 % , respectively. The synergistic flame retardancy effect of APPZ and MAH was remarkable and the composite showed good flame retardancy.
