摘　　要：我们的新体系将总结性考试与平时测验结合起来,将开卷、闭卷与实际操作结合起来;将知识掌握与个性能力的培养结合起来;将师生互动与信息交流结合起来,各种方式优势互补,统一于一个考试整体中。实践证明这种考试方式能够科学、合理地评估学生知识与能力,有利于提高学生的综合素质,培养学生的创新精神。A new assessment system to test the students ability is reported in this paper. In Material Science Specialty it is implemented as follows： a combination of final examination with regular quizzes and tests; open paper test with closed-paper test; test with experiments; knowledge mastering with personal ability training. It has achieved good results, such as the heated communication of teachers and students and the compensation of each other＇s shortcomings. It can reasonably evaluate the studenfs ability and has advantages in upgrading the student＇s integrative personality and cultivating their innovation spirits.
