摘　　要：现代城市的发展来源于其深厚的历史积淀。历史积淀为拓展现代城市的发展空间注入了生命与活力。历史积淀更是一座城市发展的检测仪。世界上一些现代化都市的发展在如何处理历史积淀方面提供了有益的启示,为解决我国城市历史积淀与现代化建设过程中存在的问题提供了借鉴。The deep historical accumulation not only induces the modern cities, but also brings vitality to their developing space of modern cities. So, the historical accumulation is yet again a detector of the urban development. From some modern metropolis in the world, China can learn wonderful experience about how to do with historical accumulation, and to solve the problems appearing in the course of modernization.
