摘　　要：回顾了地震科技信息工作在“八五”期间所取得的进展，提出了在新时期地震科技信息工作的服务内容。建立全国的地震科技信息服务网（SEISnet）以及相应的文献支撑体系，以达到地震科技信息为领导决策和大震应急服务，为地震科研的检索、咨询以及为公众的咨询服务等三大功能。After reviewing the work of earthquake scientific and technical information (ESTI) in the,' eighth five - year' plan period, it is proposed to establish the service system of ESTI in the new term, which includes a system of earthquake information service net (SEISnet) and its appropriate document surport system. The service system will have three main functions, that is service to the policy dicision of leadership and macroquake emergency, retrieve and advicement for earthquake scientific research and for the general public.
