摘  要:为解决高功率固体激光装置能源系统金属化膜储能电容器组两种故障模式的保护问题,分析了相应的两种保护方法的优点和缺点,其中重点研究并改进了爆炸丝保护方法。根据Tucker的爆炸丝物理模型分析爆炸丝气化结束前的物理过程发现,由于保护元件在爆炸丝气化过程中会出现较高的过电压,导致爆炸丝灭弧困难,由此采用在保护元件上并联火花隙的改进方法,通过火花隙释放保护电感的储能,抑制过电压的产生以利于爆炸丝熄弧。实验结果说明了改进电路的原理和有效性,进一步工程化后,有可能较好地解决高功率固体激光装置能源系统金属化膜储能电容器组的保护问题。This paper analyzes the merits and demerits of two protection methods for metallized film capacitors bank which are used in power conditioning system of high power laser: the NIF method is simple in theory, but the protection elements need high specifications, the protection elements must absorb the whole energy stored in capacitors bank when a capacitor strikes down suddenly; the SGⅢ TIL method is complex, but the energy stored in capacitors bank is released only 6% when a capacitor strikes down suddenly, so the protection elements need not high specifications. Consequently, the exploding wire protection method is mainly researched and improved. The physical process is simulated with the Tucker model of exploding wire. When a capacitor strikes down suddenly, the exploding wire is gasified, the energy stored in the protection inductor must be released by the exploding wire, so the protection inductor will produce very high voltage( 200 kV in SGⅢ TIL capacitors bank) , which makes it difficult to ex tinguish discharge arc in fuse. An improved Circuit is put out that a spark gap is in parallel with the protection element. When an capacitor strikes down suddenly, the exploding wire is gasified, the energy stored in protection inductor is released mostly through the spark gap, the voltage produced by the inductor is restrained, and then the discharge arc is easily extinguished. The principle and efficiency are experimentally verified, for example, the capacitors bank stores 120kJ energy with 23 kV in these experiments. The improved method could be used for the protection of metallized film capacitor of power conditioning system for high power laser.
