摘  要:针对压印凹凸字符色差低、图像质量差的特点,采用'特征脸'用于压印字符的整体特征提取和识别。针对'特征脸'不能充分利用样本类间信息的缺点,提出一种基于重构误差的压印凹凸字符识别新方法。该方法为每类字符分别建立子空间,然后获得测试样本在各个子空间下的重构图像,通过重构图像和原图像的均方差来实现压印字符的识别。该方法能够充分利用单类字符的共同特征和不同类字符之间的差别信息。试验结果表明,该方法能够显著提高识别率,满足实时性要求。According to the low chromatic difference and poor image quality characteristics of the pressed protuberant characters, the Eigenfaces method for the overall feature extraction and recognition is adopted. However, without considering the between-class variance, the Eigenfaces method can't achieve ideal classifying results. A novel method based on the reconstruction errors for the character recognition is proposed. Firstly, a subspace is established for every class. Then, images of the test samples are reconstructed under every subspace. Finally, the recognition experiment is carried out according to the root mean square error between the original image and the reconstruction image. The proposed method makes full use of the features of the within-class and the variance of the between-class. The experiment results show that the method not only remarkably improves the recognition rate but also meets the real-time requirement.
