摘　　要：本文从双向机顶盒(STB)的结构出发,列举了五种单向低成本机顶盒升级为双向STB的办法、特点,研究了有线数字电视运营商选择双向STB的思路以及整体转换方案中对单向STB接口的特殊要求,最后谈了五种方法的推广应用。At present, there are at least 27 million STBs used in China and more than 95% of them are one-way STBs. Upgrading these STBs from one-way to two-way has great meanings to value-added service. Based on the analysis of two-way STB, the author outlines several methods of upgrading STBs from one-way to two-way, and discusses the thoughts of CATV operators choosing two-way STBs and the special request of one-way STBs? interface. The paper will be a reference for CATV operators and STB manufacturers.
