摘　　要：本文结合宽带IP网的技术特点和应用需求,站在设备维护和应用需求的角度对宽带IP城域网的设计提出了部分建议和要求,强调了宽带IP城域网需具备的几大要素,认为在设备网络可维护、易维护的前提下,在IP城域网中提供无阻碍的传输及处理能力是服务提供商的竞争优势之一,一个完整的宽带IP城域网必须是一个兼顾各种特色的IP端到端解决方案,同时也必须强调网络的性能,只有功能和性能同时达到宽带的要求,才能提供完整业务。The combination of broadband IP network technology and application needs, from equipment maintenance and application needs the perspective of the design of broadband IP MAN made some of the recommendations and requirements for broadband IP MAN stressed the need to have several major elements That the network equipment maintenance, easy to maintain, under the premise of the IP MAN provide unhindered in the transmission and processing capacity in the service provider＇s competitive advantage of a complete broadband IP MAN must be a balance Various characteristics of IP end-to-end solutions, but also must stress that the network performance, functionality and performance at the same time only to the requirements of broadband can provide a complete business.
