摘　　要：数据库是医院信息系统的核心,是信息系统运行稳定性和运行速度的关键。近年来,随着医院信息化的发展,医院信息系统的规模越来越大,数据库服务器负荷日益加重,同时服务器硬件性能提高很快,将数据库系统从32位升级到64位成为解决这个问题的重要途径。本文就运行平台的选择进行了阐述,介绍了升级前的准备工作,对升级切换具体过程进行了分析,最后就有关问题进行了讨论。The database is the core of hospital information system and the key of information system＇s stability and rate. In recent years, with the development of hospital informatilization, hospital information system has been larger than ever, which added the burdens of the database server increasingly. At the same time, the hardware of server is more powerful. On account of this situation, the upgrade of database server from 32 bit to 64 bit is very necessary. That was to analyze how to choose the running platform, then the preparatory work and how to put the upgrade into practice were introduced. At last some problems were discussed.
