论马尔库塞技术概念的本质  

On the Essence of Hebert Marcuse's Idea About Technology

摘　　要：马尔库塞的技术概念的本质是社会批判。宏观上来看,这一结论来自于以下两位技术哲学家的论述:卡尔.米切姆和E.舒尔曼。米切姆把技术哲学分为工程学的技术哲学和人文主义的技术哲学,他把马尔库塞作为与他们不同的一种类别,归为技术的社会批判传统的一部分;舒尔曼把技术研究分为超越论者和实证论者两个类别,马尔库塞并不属于其中的任何一种,他也是把马尔库塞看成是社会批判的技术类型。微观上看,马尔库塞技术概念的"社会批判"本质的具体体现是人道主义或人文主义特征。马尔库塞技术本质的定性对当今的技术问题的研究具有重要的价值。Hebert Marcuse＇ s idea or theory about technology is mainly a social criticism. On the whole, the conclusion was drawn from two technological philosophers： Carl Mitcham and Egbert Schuurman, For example, Carl Mitcham divided the technology philosophy into two kinds, i.e. , the engineering philosophy of technology and humanist philosophy of technology, and he didn＇ t attribute Marcuse＇ s idea to either of the two kinds but to the part of the traditional social critique of technology. On the other hand, Egbert Schuurman divided the technological R＆D into transcendentalism and positivism, and he didn＇t think that Marcuse＇s philosophy of technology belongs to either of them but to a technological type of social critique. Actually, what the Marcuse＇s philosophy of technology embodies is the core of humanism. The nature of Marcuse＇s philosophy of technology is of significance to the study on current development of technology.
