摘　　要：研究目的:考察国外城市用地扩张控制研究现状,为中国现行城市用地扩张控制提供借鉴。研究方法:文献资料法和比较分析法。研究结果:西方国家在城市用地扩张过程中不断提出新的控制措施,且研究领域扩展至控制措施绩效分析、控制时间价值分析、区域用地扩张控制。研究结论:西方国家城市用地控制过程中仍存在很多问题,因此,中国应有选择的借鉴。The purpose of the paper is to review on urban land expansion control in foreign countries in order to provide reference for China. Methods employed include documentation and comparative analysis. The result indicates that the new control measures on urban land expansion are frequently taken in western countries, and the research field is extended to analysis on performance of control measure and time value, as well as control on regional land expansion. It is concluded that we should learn experiences selectively from western countries where many problems still exist during the process of urban expansion control.
