摘　　要：解析了美国犹他州大学图书馆开发数据库管理电子期刊的历史、经验及教训,揭示了开发数据库管理电子期刊的目的、意义及其工作中的注意事项,以期为国内高校图书馆工作人员管理电子期刊提供参考与借鉴。The history, experiences and lessons of managing the electronic journals at the Library of Utah State University USA are analyzed in this paper. In addition, the aim, significance and other details of developing database used for the management of electronic journals are demonstrated, which, hopefully, will be learned and used for reference by the librarians at university libraries in China.
