摘　　要：法显西行取经是中印文化交流史上的重大事件。法显在印度(天竺)期间,积极参加各种佛事活动,并详细记录了他的所见所闻,为研究印度、斯里兰卡诸国古代佛教、地理、社会风俗等保存了珍贵的历史资料。法显的故事还是中印友好往来的历史见证,为中印文化交流做出了卓越贡献。Fa Xian went to India westward was an important thing in the history of cultural interchange between China and India. Fa Xian participated all kinds of Buddhism activities positively and recorded his information. All this were of most importance for the research to Buddhism, geography, social custom, etc. for India. His stories were also historical testimony of amicable intercourse between China and India. Fa Xian contributed to the cultural interchange between China and India outstandingly.
