摘　　要：文章中,南亚指的是中国、东盟十国和南亚次大陆各国所在的广大地区。该地区拥有1700多万km2的辽阔土地,资源丰富,经济发展水平相当,互补性较强,且有着相似的历史、文化、信仰和消费水平等人缘和地缘关系。从世界经济和区域经济发展的现实与趋势来考察,南亚区域的经济合作具有充分的可能性和必要性,将会给区域内的各国带来繁荣,并为世界经济发展做出贡献。The South Asia in the paper means the vast region that covers China, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the South Asian Subcontinent. This region has vast land of more than 170 million square kilometers and rich resources. The countries in this region have a similar popularity and geographical factor such as economic level, history, culture, religious belief and consume and so on. Seeing about the development＇s praxis and direction of the world economy and regional economy, it has possibility and necessity of the South Asian economic cooperation, and it is about to bring about a prosperous economy for the every intra-regional, and also can be contributed to the world economy at the same time.
