摘　　要：JB IG是二值图像压缩编码标准之一,主要压缩原理是基于条件概率的算术编码。JB IG标准提供了两种标准模板来确定条件概率。本文分析了两种不同模板的压缩编码效果,并结合最低分辨率层的典型预测分析各种情况下JB IG编码的压缩能力,得出三线典型预测编码的效率较高。JBIG is one of the bi-level image compression standards. The principle of JBIG coding is based on the conditional probabilities of arithmetic coding. JBIG defines two types of model templates to confirm the conditional probabilities. In the paper, the compression of JBIG coding has been analyzed with two different model templates. And combined with the lowest-resolution-layer typical prediction, the efficiency of different coding modes has been compared. The conclusion is 3- line typical prediction template gives higher compression.
