摘 要:在信号源数未知或信号源数与估计不符的条件下,大多数高分辨DOA(direction of arrival)估计算法性能都会严重下降或失效。该文通过分析直线阵的阵列流形,给出了波束特征值的概念,并由此提出了一种可应用于小尺度阵的信号源数估计算法.理论分析和仿真实验证明,该算法适用于相干和非相干信号源数估计,并且在低信噪比条件下,仍能进行准确地估计.并且通过蒙特卡洛试验证实了该算法的信源数估计性能优于通常的信源数估计方法.Most high-resolution direction estimation methods suffer degraded performance or even completely fail if the number of targets is unknown or the estimated number does not match the real number of sources. Analysis of the linear array manifold led to a concept we have named wave beam eigenvalue, and thus the new method for estimating the number of sources with a small aperture array presented in this paper. Both theoretical analysis and computer simulations showed that the new method can estimate the source number for both correlated signals and uncorrelated signals in low SNR and it has better performance than traditional methods in Monte Carlo experiments.
