摘　　要：第11届世界田径锦标赛显示了世界田坛的竞技实力格局,结合中国的田径现状,备战北京奥运会的策略是:科研攻关,全力以赴抓好优势项目;重视项目特征和训练规律研究;进行针对性训练,提高运动员的参赛能力;实施"走出去,请进来"策略.The author finds that the situation of track and field in the world has a new structure, and analyzes the competition ability of Chinese track and field through the method of literature study, mathematical statistics and logic reasoning, based on the strength situation of the llth IAAF World Championship, analysis and re- search on the strength situation of track and field in the world before Beijing Olympic Games.
