摘 要:为了充分发挥多气隙电阻板室(MRPC)优异的性能,CERN的ALICE/TOF组设计了专用的放大甄别芯片—NINO。这种ASIC芯片采用了0.25μm CMOS技术制作,具有高度的集成性,每片可以同时对8路信号进行放大甄别成型;具有全线路的差分信号处理能力;放大器的信号前沿上升时间<1ns;具有LVDS输出信号电平,并且在一定的范围内,输出信号宽度取决于输入信号电流大小,可以满足HPTDC进行TOT测量的需要。我们采用ASIC的前端电子学NINO,对一个位置灵敏的MRPC进行了束流测试,获得了很好的实验结果。In order to meet the excellent properties of MRPC, an front-end amplifier/discriminator chip- NINO ASIC, was developed in ALICE TOF group at CERN. This ASIC was fabricated with the 0. 25(m CMOS technology. It is highly integrated and can deal with 8 channels per chip. It has differential input and is differential signal shaping and throughout transition. The peaking time of the amplifier is less than ins. It has LVDS outputs and the width of the output signal depended on the charge of input. This allows the TOT measurement of HPTDC system. A position sensitive MRPC was tested with beam facility using the front-end electronics based on NINO and good results were obtained.
