摘　　要：不同文化背景的人,由于道德价值观、文化习俗、行为规范上的差异,对礼貌语言的理解是不同的。我们在与西方各国人民交往时,要全面地了解中西文化的差异,以避免礼貌语言使用不当的情况出现,使交往和谐友好地进行。People, coming from different cultural background, will have different understanding to courtesy language with the differences in moral value view, cultural custom and regulation in behavior. In the communication with westerners, we should know the difference between Chinese and Western cultures to make it peaceful and friendly, avoiding the misuse of courtesy language.
