摘　　要：中西方文学在过去虽然缺乏实际的接触和交流,但都有对弃妇形象的刻画和表现,而且这些弃妇形象呈现出一定的"共相",形成这种共相的根源则是中西方社会存在着的文化共通性。Although Chinese and Western literature lacked substantial engagement and exchange in the past, both of them portrayed the character of deserted wife . This paper points out those images of ＂deserted wife＂ have the general character and the root of it is that there is some culture commonality applicable to both Chinese and Western society.
