摘　　要：依法执政是新的历史条件下党执政的一个基本方式。构建社会主义和谐社会,是贯穿中国特色社会主义事业全过程的长期历史任务。我们党坚持依法执政,是社会主义民主法治的重要保障,有利于形成尊重和保障人权的社会机制,有利于促进和实现社会公平正义,有利于形成安定有序的社会秩序,从而推动科学发展、促进社会和谐。Exercising state power according to law is a basic approach that should be adopted by the Party under new historical conditons. The construction of a harmonious socialist society in China is a long-term historical mission in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Our Party adheres to exercising state power according to law, which is an important guarantee for socialist democracy and the legal system in China, helps formulate the social mechanism that respects and safeguards human rights, promotes the realization of social equity and justice, and benefits the formation of ordinal social order. Therefore, exercising state power according to law helps promote scientific development and social harmony.
