摘　　要：对清朝晚期驻外使节与西方近代体育传入的关系进行了探讨。晚清驻外使节是身处异质文明冲突的最前沿,较早接触到了西方近代体育,并在引进外籍兵操教员、宣传和带头实践近代体育等方面做出贡献。The authors probed into the relation between ambassadors of the late Qing dynasty and modem western sports. Ambassadors of the late Qing dynasty were a special group of intellectuals, who contacted with modem western sports earlier, and made their own contributions to introducing foreign army trainers, writing books to promote modem sports, and leading the practice of modem sports.
