摘　　要：本文从分析建设会议论文特色数据库的必要性入手,在概述TPI系统平台软件功能的基础上,结合笔者建库过程的实践,详细介绍了北京化工大学图书馆会议论文特色数据库建设和开发的流程,并提出了构建特色数据库过程中应注意的问题。Starting from the analysis on the necessity of constructing conference proceedings characteristic database, and based on expounding the functions of TPI, this paper, combining the experience of the writer in the construction process, introduced in detail the construction and developing procedures of conference proceedings database in the library of Beijing university of chemical technology, and put forward some problems which needed attentions in the construction of the database.
