摘　　要：本文将USB2.0接口应用于GPIB控制器的设计与开发,介绍了USB—GPIB控制器的硬件实现和VISA函数库软件设计中的技术难点及解决方案,包括:通信协议、资源管理、格式化输入/输出和资源互斥访问等问题,并提出了基于此控制器的自动测试系统组建方案。目前,采用本文所提出的设计方案开发的USB—GPIB控制器和相关VISA函数库已经产品化,其主要性能指标已达到或优于国内外同类产品。The paper introduces a GPIB controller based on USB2.0 interface, and discusses the solutions to the technical difficulties in the development of both USB-GPIB controller hardware and USB-GPIB VISA function library. These technical difficulties involve communication protocol, resource management, formatting input/output and exclusive access among resources. An automatic test system based on the new controller was designed. At present, the USB-GPIB controller and VISA function library have been developed successfully as a new product. The main specifications of the product are equal or superior to those of similar domestic and foreign GPIB controllers.
