摘 要:从结构紧凑且方向性高的目的出发,设计了一种既有完全磁导体(PMC)基底又有光子晶体(PBG)覆层的新型电磁晶体贴片天线,用全波模拟方法研究了该新型天线的输入回波损耗、辐射方向图、增益和方向性系数等性能,模拟结果表明,加入PMC结构和PBG覆层以后天线的方向性得到了很大的提高.PMC基底结构将天线的方向性系数由原来的7.0 dB提高到10.16 dB,PBG覆层结构则将天线的方向性系数提高到13.7 dB,既有PMC基底又有PBG覆层结构的新型电磁晶体天线的方向性系数被进一步提高到了14.3 dB,接近于具有相同尺寸和工作频率的天线的理论极限(14.6 dB).A new patch antenna system with a perfect magnetic conductor (PMC) substrate and a photonic bandgap (PBG) cover was designed, which has compact structure and high directivity. The performance of the new antenna wer'e investigated using the full wave simulation method such as return loss, radiation patten ,impedance, directivity and so on. The numerical results show that the directivity of the patch antenna is improved dramatically in presence of the PMC structure and PBG cover, The PMC substrate increased the directivity from 7.0 dB (of the conventional patch antenna) to 10.16 dB, and the PBG cover increased the directivity from 7.0 dB to 13.7 dB. The new PBG patch antenna system which has both a PMC substrate and a PBG cover increased the directivity up to 14.3 dB, which is very close to the maximum directivity (14.6 dB) that is physically possible for this size of antenna.
