摘　　要：优秀船型及其性能资料是船舶设计和新船型开发的主要技术支撑之一。在研究国内外优秀船型及其性能资料的基础上,采用最新的数据库技术、软件开发技术,建成了船舶技术性能数据库系统,该数据库系统储存了当代国内外优秀船型及其性能资料,并在船舶设计中发挥了一定的作用。详细地介绍了船舶技术性能数据库系统的功能、构成及软硬件关键技术。The information and navigating performance of excellent ship hull form are main technical supports to ship design and new ship form development. Based on the experimental and research information of ship form and performance, Ship Technical Performance Database System （STPDS） is developed with up-to-date database technology and software. The information in the database system are very useful for ship design. The function, the structure and the key software and hardware technique about STPDS are presented.
