摘  要:卫星高度计资料在海洋动力学中的应用主要是进行海平面及海流变化的研究。在物理海洋学中,海流速度的测定是非常重要的,所以用高度计资料推算地转流有着重要意义。本文用2年多的GEOSAT卫星高度计资料,根据地转平衡方程,计算了赤道165°E的纬向地转流速度,并且将推算值与实测资料进行了比较,其相关系数为0.85,达到了令人满意的结果。实践证明只要对高度计资料的质量控制、误差订正等处理方法得当,滤波方法及尺度选择合理,用高度计资料推算赤道纬向地转流是可靠、有效的。Satellite altimeter data are mainly used to research the sea level and current variabilities in the field of ocean dynamics. It is very important to determine the current velocity in physical oceanography. So estimating the geostrophic currents from satellite altimeter data is very significant. In this paper,the geostrophic zonal currents at 165癊 at the equator are calculated the Geosat altimeter data from two years and more based on the geostrophic balance equation. The comparison between the estimates and observations of the zonal currents at 165癊 at the equator is made, and the correlation coefficient of 0. 85 is obtained. It is shown that estimates of the geostrophic zonal current at the equator from Geosat altimeter data are reliable as long as the proper quality control is conducted, orbit error correction techniques are applied, and proper filter methods and filter lengths are choiced.
