摘　　要：两难是柏拉图《政治家篇》中政治家形象的重要特征。具体而言,这些两难主要表现为政治家在理想与现实、理性与自由、国家与个人、伦理与政治关系上的矛盾和冲突。政治家身上所表现出的两难问题与柏拉图政治思想体系的内在矛盾是相呼应的。我们只有将政治家所面临的两难处境放置在柏拉图的整个政治思想体系中进行考察,才能对其获得一个更为清晰的理解。The statesmen under Plato＇s pen can almost be labeled as people of contradictions, which might be specifically stated as the conflicts between ideality and reality, rationality and liberty, state and individual, ethics and politics. These contradictions are consistent to the intrinsic antinomy in Plato＇s political thoughts. Only when the contradictions in statesmen are placed in the larger system of Plato＇s political theories can we obtain a more distinct picture of them.
