摘　　要：朱舜水在中日文化的交流进程中,曾扮演过一个众口交誉的积极角色。然而,当人们去逆向考察近世日本的民族主义之所以发生的文化根源时,就会发现朱舜水还是一位值得关注的复杂人物。这种复杂性,常常表现在其主观动机与客观效果似乎没有关联然而实际上关联甚深、诸多作为看似白云出岫却仿佛深藏安排等行事特征上。深入探讨朱舜水的特殊历史作用,对于准确把握近世日本国家的发展谱系,或有裨益。Zhu Shunshui once played an active role in cultural exchange between China and Japan,a role that was widely recognized and praised.However,when we retrace the cultural roots of the prevailing nationalism in early modern Japan,we find him a complex personality well worth studying.His complexity often manifested itself in subjective motives that appeared unrelated to their objective consequences but were in fact closely connected,and many seemingly casual plans that were actually the fruit of well disguised intentions.A deeper examination of the special historical role Zhu played may help give us a more precise understanding of the lineage of the modern state in Japan.
