摘　　要："自由防守人"是新规则的产物,在当今世界排球向大型化发展的同时,后排的防守地带却成了高大型队员要防守的薄弱区域,为了使排球运动攻防达到平衡,新规则增设了"自由防守人",但一般高水平球队运用较多,而基层队却至今仍运用较少,甚至有些队直接就不采用,这种现象可能与对规则的了解及运用经验不足有直接关系,为了使"自由防守人"在基层比赛中发挥应有的作用,通过对自由人的特殊规则做进一步阐述,在其培养思路方面提出了一些设想与建议。＂Libero player＂ is the product of new rules. With the development of world classical volleyball today, rear defensive zone has become a weak region for high-large defender to defense. In order to balance volleyball offensive and defensive, the new rules provide a ＂Libero player＂. But generally the high-level team use more frequently than the grass-roots teams and even some teams do not use at all. This phenomenon may be related to the less understanding of the rules and less experience of it＇s application. In order to make ＂Libero player＂ play its due role in the grass-roots game, this paper further elaborates the special definition of the Libero, and put forward a number of ideas and proposals in its training.
