摘　　要：农民的流动过程,在很大程度上也是农民的非农化和市民化过程。农民的流向选择在一定意义上决定了农民城镇化的路径选择。在西部大开发进一步深入的大背景下,西部农民流动的数量及频率在逐步扩大和加快,农民的流动必将对流出地和流入地以及整个社会产生重大影响。本文通过对甘肃省天水市的两个发展程度不同的建制镇的调查,分析了西部农民流向的基本特征、影响农民流向选择的因素,讨论了西部农民流向对西部经济社会的影响,初步提出了弱化其不利影响的政策思路。The flow of farmers, to a large extent, is a process of farmers＇ non-agriculturalization and urbanization. The farmers＇ choice of flow to some extent determines the route choice of farmers＇ urbanization. With the deepening of western development, the quantity and frequency of farmers＇ flow are gradually increased, and the farmers＇ flow is bound to have a significant impact on the inflow and outflow as well as the entire society. Based on the investigation to two administrative towns with different degree of development, the paper analyzes the basic characteristics of the western farmers＇ flow and the factors influencing their flow choice, discusses the impacts of their flow on the western economic and social develop-ment, and puts forward the policy strategy of weakening the negative influence.
